Giving Back
Vonigo is committed to giving back. To further this commitment, Vonigo has pledged 1% of profits and equity to local and global charities tackling some of the most pressing challenges of our time. At Vonigo, we are honored to help those in need at home and abroad and believe it’s our duty to assist those ravaged by poverty, hunger, violence and pain.
One cause we are particularly proud to support is The United Nations World Food Program. The WFP is the world's largest humanitarian organization, working to put world hunger at the center of the international agenda. They are also promoting policies, strategies and operations which directly benefit those stricken with poverty and malnutrition. The WFP is heavily involved with School Meal, Food for Work and Purchase for Progress programs. They also strongly support Focus on Women, while being deeply immersed in fighting against the spread of HIV/AIDS.
As the food assistance arm of the United Nations, WFP uses food to meet emergency needs and support economic and social development. Each year the WFP feeds more than 90 million people in 73 countries. WFP also provides the logistical support necessary to get food to the right people at the right time wherever they are located.
Vonigo believes that everyone deserves a warm bed, nutritious food, clean water and access to proper medical care and we hope our contributions make a difference to those in need.
